What do you remember about Tizer? Me? A Fruit drink that got no nearer to fruit than the apple in the chemists packed lunch. Full of tartrazine and all things good.
Today I bought a can of Tizer to find it contains real fruit juice... and no soul. Also it had a burp factor of 1 on the 5 point scale.
Sorry very disappointed.

Pro No, the name doesn't come from "Tizer the Appetizer", that was just it's first advertizing slogan. Tizer was a well-known family name and the drink was named from this name. The slogan cam next. You shouldn't trust wikipedia: it is very often talking utter schite!

No the text is from wikipedia BUT the confirmation came from the manufactures site.

Straight lift from their own webb site..i can only assume the owners of the product know where the name came from..

Pro OK then, but I don't see why you should initially claim the text as being from the manufacturer when you in fact copied it from wikipedia. You initially said "The info came from the makers ( AG Barr ) own webb site" when I could clearly see that you'd wiki'd it.
Perhaps you could quote your source next time?

I dont know why you have a bee in your bonnet or why it matters so much. But if we are gonna be accurate I actually said

And that is where i saw it. the Text i put down came from Wikipedia. Which said the same thing?
