What do you remember about Tizer? Me? A Fruit drink that got no nearer to fruit than the apple in the chemists packed lunch. Full of tartrazine and all things good.
Today I bought a can of Tizer to find it contains real fruit juice... and no soul. Also it had a burp factor of 1 on the 5 point scale.
Sorry very disappointed.

The name originally comes from the phrase 'Tizer the Appetizer'. It was launched in 1924 by Fred Pickup of Manchester when it was known as 'Pickup's Appetizer'. After the death of Pickup it was owned by the Armour Trust before being sold to A.G. Barr plc (the makers of Irn-Bru) for £2.5 million in 1972.
and yeah it now tastes crap!!
