Izal came in boxes which dispensed single sheets which were shiny/smooth one side and rough the other. I used to love the smell of coal tar soap. Like you I hated Victory V's....

Izal toilet paper! Yuk! yuk! Yuk! Hated the smell of it - I can smell it just thinking about it. Went with the chemical privy down the garden.
Brut - I always followed Our 'Enery's example and "splashed it on all over!"
I think I have used just about everything else on the list too. -

Wrights Coal Tar soap? - partner still uses it, can take the moisture out of the sea.
Price's Night Lights? - don't know if they were Price's
Euthymol Toothpaste? - really good, refreshing but hot
Izal toilet paper? - have had the unfortunate experience, should've advertised it as crap paper
Badger hair shaving brush? - dad I think
Chocolate milk delivered by the milkman? - no!
missed that!
Victory V lozenges? - yeh, have to be a massochist to finish one, but kept trying for some reason
A mangle? - yep, but it was motor driven on an agitator
A Washboard? - remember mum using one
Brylcream? - dad
Old Spice? - partner used to and there's still some in the cabinet he won't let me throw out, is it cos it's an antique?
Brut? - dad

Prince George, B.C.

I think I used Wrights Coaltar soap, probably when I had acne as a teenager and tried just about everything.... Nope I remember now it was Coaltar shampoo that I used to use, I loved the smell of it.
My grandma had Izal toilet paper and her toilet was outside in the back yard which was freezing on the bum in winter without the added insult of Izal. Y'know, they still have that stuff (though it's not Izal the brand) in the public toilets in Blackpool - tsk.
My mum had a Hoover washing machine with a mangle on it, she used it for years, even when my sister was a baby she still had it and she was born in 1976!!
Victory V lozenges uggh yuk, they were vile.
